About MetroEast
Dr. Martin Furlong has been providing exceptional chiropractic care to thousands of patients in the Twin Cities and Metro Area.
After years of successfully treating patients with Chiropractic Care, he noticed a decline in how long some patients would hold an adjustment and an increase in dysfunction, illness and disease among the general population. His research concluded that many of these issues were due to increased exposure to environmental toxins and poor diets which included processed foods, chemical additives, added antibiotics and hormones, and lacked in real living food. Americans were toxic and nutritionally deprived and it was causing an extreme rise in obesity, illness and disease which resulted in daily pain, dysfunction, and even early death.
In 2009, after his search for natural health remedies that would help people start real healing, Dr. Furlong discovered Nutrition Response Testing®. He spent the next several years becoming advanced clinically trained in its methodology.
The success was immediate - using Nutrition Response Testing® and Chiropractic - he was finally getting the results he had known were possible. Patients began attaining life-changing results to their health that lasted.
Since the pandemic, we have seen new levels of toxins that complicate patients health. We now have a specialty that we have developed in the clinic to treat for Post-Pandemic Factors.
Since successfully incorporating Nutrition Response Testing® into the practice, MetroEast Natural Healing Center is now receiving patients from as far as the upper Midwest states, and even referrals from all over the country.

Angie
Health Coach
Angie graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Culinary Arts, including coursework specific to nutrition. Her first 4 years after schooling were spent working as a personal chef on a private jet, where she ate & cooked cuisines literally around the world.
7 years ago, Angie was diagnosed with Celiac's disease and was devastated to learn that her passion for food was making her physically sick. She came to Dr. Furlong for help with related symptoms. She feels Nutrition Response Testing under Dr. Furlong's care and the Guided Nutrition Health Program have greatly improved her quality of life.
Angie has turned her passion for cooking into a passion for cooking whole, real, healthy Gluten Free foods for her own family and catering clients. She is so excited to now be trained as a Guided Nutrition Health Coach so that her passion can help even more people. Outside of work, Angie and her husband enjoy time with their 2 middle school aged children playing golf, tennis and hockey.
Eliza
Front Desk Coordinator
Eliza has a degree in Business Administration and spent 16 years serving the elderly in Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities. However, the mental and physical demands of her work led to weight gain and many health issues. She became aware of natural healing methods when family members started having health issues that conventional medicine could not treat successfully.
Witnessing her oldest sister beat aggressive thyroid cancer with healing foods and supplements was amazing and illuminating. Eliza realized that she needed to actively seek a better, healthier life for herself and her family. And that is when she found MetroEast Natural Healing Center.
Eliza is married and enjoys reading, singing, hiking and learning about folklore and history from around the world.
Jackie
Business Manager
Jackie's passion for nutrition began in 1986 when she and her husband, Dr. Marty Furlong, opened MetroEast Natural Healing Center.
She has a bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and has studied many different nutrition programs becoming certified with the AFPA and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach. Through working with patients, she found that most people were either unaware, confused, or misinformed as to what their eating habits should be to stay healthy and ward off illness and disease.
She developed the Guided Nutrition Program in 2014 which has not only been successful in helping our patients make the changes necessary to achieve greater health but is now being offered in clinics all over the nation. She and her family have received tremendous on-going health benefits with Nutrition Response Testing® and Chiropractic.
She enjoys staying very active hiking, biking, running and traveling with friends and family.
Amanda
Practitioner Assistant
Amanda was raised with Nutrition Response Testing and Chiropractic as her primary form of healthcare. She has her Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Business management. Amanda loves to continue to gain knowledge of how, where, and what produces our food and how it relates to our health.

She enjoys gardening, running, golf, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Deb
Clinic Manager
Deb received her Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and a Masters of Social Work. Her entire career has focused on health and wellness in a variety of settings.
Her enthusiasm for helping others strive for optimal health and happiness has been consistent throughout. It's that "aha" moment when a client/patient/friend finally "clicks" with a deeper understanding that they really can make the change for the better, that really sparks Deb's passion.
She also has several years of management experience in the health and wellness arena. For recreation, Deb enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, fishing, cross-country skiing, travel and time with family and friends.
Lisa

Brandi Raverty
Nutrition Response Testing® Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Masters in Nursing
Brandi has been a registered nurse for over 20 years, specializing in labor, neonatal, management, and education. For years she has struggled with many different health issues without resolution until she started working with a natural approach that involved Nutrition Response Testing® and living a whole food, low-carb lifestyle. Following her specific program allowed her to see amazing health improvements, including a resolution of her migraines and chronic joint pain.
Her desire to learn more and improve the health of her family who were dealing with chronic health issues, led her to MetroEast as a nutrition coach and completion of her Professional Level and Advanced Level training in Nutrition Response Testing®.
